The Fischer series chess set

In 1972, Bobby Fischer played a historic match against Boris Spassky for the world chess championship. This match, known as the match of the century, sparked a global interest in chess. To capitalize on Fischer's popularity, the House of Staunton, a renowned chess equipment manufacturer, created a new line of chessmen inspired by the classic Staunton design. They named this line The Fischer Series in honor of Bobby Fischer.
